Safe Smart Cities and the Responsible Use of AI

As cities around the world adopt more technology and become "smarter", there are important considerations around safety, ethics, and responsible AI development. Here are some key points on creating safe smart cities with artificial intelligence:
  • Privacy and Security - Smart cities collect vast amounts of data through sensors, cameras, and other monitoring systems. Protecting the privacy of citizens and securing this data against cyberattacks must be a top priority. Strict data governance policies need to be in place.
